Reading Logs need to be returned this week with a parent signature. If your student has misplaced theirs, you can write a note stating they
have read their average of 20 minutes each day or not. Tuesday is Homecoming Day and the students may wear green and white that day.   A few clarifications; please sign all of the math sheets after you have corrected them and gone over mistakes with your child.  If their paper has an “R” on it for re-do, they need to fix it and return it to school the next day.  I believe they are getting more “R’’s than they should because they are rushing through and not reading carefully or just hurrying to get it done.   I told them I don’t like to correct papers twice either as they are whining abut doing it over.  We’ll all work on this.  I feel strongly that a student’s success depends on three things - themselves doing thier best, my teaching and reteaching when necessary, and parent suppot and help.
