SRS 2.0

Well, just to let you know, I did not fall off the face of the earth. I have been working on the St. Raphael’s School technology plan and focusing primarily on the importance of 21st century skills. I am currently working on finalizing the survey for the parents.

This afternoon, I had a neat opportunity. Each year for advent the teacher’s are asked to decorate their doors for the season. As I talked with the other teachers on my floor, we decided that the three of us would put the Three Wise Men on our doors. To further integrate the message of the Wise Men the teachers and I decided that it would be important to talk about the “real” gifts of Christmas.  So the 3rd and 4th graders created gifts with a word or a phrase that described what they believed to be the “real” gift of Christmas.
