6th Oops! My mistake. Only 5th grade had to look at the moon, Jupiter, and Venus. So, anyone who brought in a note will receive 5 extra credit points in science.
5th English–Write 12 sentences. Underline your subject once, verb twice. Due Friday.
Grade 6 science-finish all online note taking at home, during study hall, or homeroom time. Also, view moon with Venus and Jupiter tonight. Bring signed note that you did so. This is homework–not extra credit.
English 6-GUM pg. 21 due Tuesday.
Spelling 6-103-104 due Friday with test.

Grade 6 science–students are working on a research paper. They have learned how to make a source card and a note card.Today, each student checked out one book and needs to make all of their notecards on that book by Monday. The final research paper will be due right after Christmas break. It will be keyboarded and will have a title page, main paper, and source page. Along with the paper, each student must make a board game that reflects the information in the research paper. Students are taken one step at a time in the whole process. Much of the research will be done in school. Look for updates on this blog.
Note: 5th and 6th grade are scheduled for a field trip to Elm Creek to X-C ski, alpine ski or snowboard, and tube. The date is Friday, February 6 8:30 to 3:00 p.m. The cost will be approximately $19.00 for pass, lesson, and equipment. Lunch is extra–$6 to $7 for food from the grill. Students may bring their own food, also.

Grade 5 science–chapter review will be assigned next Tuesday and due Thursday 11/20. Test review will be on 11/21 and final test on 11/25. We discussed long term planning.
Literature 6–pg 73 quest.1-6 due Thursday. Complete sentences include part of question in the answer.
English 5-skills pg 124 and finish 125–due Friday.
PHT’s meeting is this Thur. Nov. 13th in Room 22 at 7:30. PHT would like to spend money on the “Next Big Thing.” Dorothy Bialke and Three teachers will be presenting what they would like the “Next Big Thing” to be. We would like all parents to attend the meeting to hear their presentation and give feedback and/or offer other suggests on what the “Next Big Thing” should be. We encourage all parents to attend this important meeting. All parents are members of PHT. It is up to all parents to decide where the extra money should go.
