St. Raphael's School qualifies as a charitable
organization for exemption under the IRS 501(c)(3)
non-profit rule, therefore your gift is tax deductible.
Regardless of the size of your gift, you can help a St.
Raphael's student.
Forms of Giving
Checks, cash or money — When properly acknowledged, this simple way of giving provides the donor with a tax deduction and the immediate satisfaction of giving. Please make checks payable to St. Raphael's Catholic School and send to:

7301 Bass Lake Road
Crystal, MN 55428
Marketable Securities — Gifts of stock or bonds owned for at least one year are another popular form of charitable contribution. Donors receive a charitable tax deduction when they contribute securities, particularly securities that have appreciated in value. The gift is the fair market value of the stock or bonds given. Deductions may be carried over to future years under certain conditions.
Personal Property & Real Estate — Real estate, art, furniture, automobiles, boats, coin collections, rare books, antiques, and so forth, can all be donated. Donors receive a charitable tax deduction if an independent appraiser appraises the gift.
Bequest or Will — Can be a designated dollar amount, a percentage of an estate, or a specific piece of property. It may reduce an estate's federal tax liability.
Life Insurance and IRA's — By designating St. Raphael's as a beneficiary of a new or existing insurance policy, or an IRA distribution fund, a donor may qualify for an immediate tax deduction without affecting other assets intended for family members.
Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder and Lead Trusts — These vehicles can provide a substantial gift to St. Raphael's while generating income and a variety of tax benefits for the donor and their heirs.
Remainder Interest — A gift of real estate with a retained "life interest" allows a donor to contribute property to St. Raphael's and receive a tax deduction while residing on the property, without disruption, for life. Real estate may include a personal residence, farm or vacation property.
Forms of Gifts
Memorial or Honorarium — Honor a loved family member, friend, or influential person in your life by making a contribution in their name.
Endowment Fund — The Endowment Fund is made up of gifts from generous donors and of investment growth and earnings. Gifts to the Endowment Fund are invested in a permanent trust held by St. Raphael's School to provide long-term strength and growth of educational programs at St. Raphael's School. In addition to funding a portion of the operating budget, the Endowment Fund provides for strategic programs, projects and goals identified by the Trustees.
Scholarship Annual Fund "Adopt-A-Student" — Annual Scholarship funds provide tuition assistance to families of St. Raphael's students who demonstrate financial need. Unlike an endowment fund, gifts to the Annual Scholarship Fund are fully allocated by the school each year.
